The InfoPrint® 4100 Advanced Function Printing System continues to evolve to meet the requirements of digital publishers and transactional printers. This continuous form, monochrome printer can produce the high image and text quality traditionally available only from cutsheet solutions, on a range of papers. In addition, the InfoPrint 4100 provides one of the highest speeds currently available for electro-photographic printers – as a result, you can increase output volume with fewer devices and less operator time.

When you print statements, Precision Marketing pieces or publications, you can reduce operation costs with the speed and flexibility of integrated pinfed or pinless printing. Book printers can use the InfoPrint 4100 to help reduce the costs of printing short-run books or technical manuals. Direct mailers and service bureaus can lower costs by running a range of paper weights. MICR capability adds flexibility for you to run all applications on the same production platform at maximum throughput.

InfoPrint 4100 Features & Benefits

Nine models in the family

Optimize total cost of ownership and productivity with printers designed to meet enterprise and commercial printing needs, including MICR at ultra-high speeds.

Image Enhancement feature

Attract and engage readers with smoother halftones and sharper contrast associated with graphic arts quality.

Commercial Print feature

Satisfy diverse customer requirements with the ability to support 9 pt. coated stock, in pinfed or pinless modes, at ultra high speeds,

Intelligent halftone switching

Optimize print quality with flexible halftone selection at the printer console. This allows you to select different halftones for different page components based on size and type to optimize print quality.

State-of-the-art InfoPrint POWER Controller1 with color emulation and support for Advanced Function Presentation™ (AFP™) color management.

Reduce cost of printing by consolidating printers and streamlining application development. Some color applications compliant with AFP color architecture can be printed without changes on both color and InfoPrint 4100 printers. Applications using FS45, GIF, TIFF or JPEG color objects, for example, can be printed on the InfoPrint 4100 and are converted to halftones by the POWER Controller.

Productivity Tracker software

Enhance the information available to operations managers regarding the printer performance, operator activities and print job statistics, augmenting the browser-based remote monitoring (Online Access) support. The software can allow you to define and capture most printer and pre- and post-processor events to provide data for full accounting of the operation.

Patented Print Quality Enhancement with 256 levels of gray, four screen frequencies and seven levels of contrast control

Produce industry-leading 600 dpi image quality suitable for all applications from Precision Marketing to books.

True 3-up printing with buffer to trim

Reduce cost of printing with up to 33 percent reduction in usage charge per impression compared to the same size 2-up printing.

Enhanced Operator Console, with operator privilege control, and InfoPrint Manager on the operator console

Enhance your operational productivity and control with the ability to log on and manage print jobs and queues from the print room, as well as authorize operator tasks.

Forms Identification system

Minimize reprint costs by verifying that the correct form is loaded. Forms Identification works with integrated pinfed or pinless printing.
